"Returning it felt like more trouble than it was worth"
I tried to return an item it was way more stressful than I expected. The steps weren’t very clear, and it took ages to get replies, so I kept feeling like I might miss the return window or end up stuck with something I didn’t want. I hate feeling like I’m losing money over a simple return. Not a great experience.

"It works fine during the day, but once..."
It works fine during the day, but once the light starts getting low around dusk, it’s kind of a letdown. I was expecting better visibility, but it just didn’t hold up that well.
"Focus wheel was a letdown"
I bought these from opticron.co.uk the focus wheel annoyed me right from the start. It feels stiff at first, then suddenly jumps, so trying to get a sharp view ended up being way more fiddly than it should be lol.
I tested them in the garden and took them out on a walk too, but it was the same issue both times. For the price, I really expected a smoother experience. Disappointed and I wouldn’t buy them again...

"Delivery took way longer than expected"
I ordered from Opticron and, to be fair, the product was fine when it finally arrived. It was just the delivery that really dragged on. From the way the site presented it, I thought it would be quicker, but I ended up waiting and waiting without much of an update.
I had to chase it up myself, which is always a bit frustrating when all you really want is to know where your order is. It wasn’t the worst experience ever, but the slow delivery definitely put me off ordering from them again anytime soon.

"Showed in stock, but wasn’t"
I placed an order because the item was listed as in stock, but later found out it was actually backordered. Frustrating, especially since I was expecting a quicker response and didn’t want to waste time waiting around for something that wasn’t available.

I’ve bought from Opticron before and wanted to stay loyal to them, so I was disappointed when I had an issue that should’ve been covered under warranty. Getting any help felt like a chore, slow replies, being passed from one person to another, and never really getting a straight answer.
In the end it just felt like they were hoping I’d give up rather than actually sort it out. I still like some of their products, which makes it more frustrating, but after this experience I’d really think twice before buying from them again

"Decent site, but not loads to choose from"
I had a look on opticron.co.uk hoping to compare a few different options, and the site itself was easy enough to use. That said, the range felt a bit limited and quite a few items looked similar to me. I couldn’t quite find what I was after, so it was a little disappointing overall.

"Refund took forever and the wording was misleading"
I ordered something and ended up returning it, but getting my refund was such a hassle. The wording made it sound like the refund would be processed quickly, which definitely wasn’t the case. I had to chase them more than once, and the replies I got were vague and not that helpful. Maybe other people have had a smoother experience, but for me it was frustrating enough that I wouldn’t be in a hurry to order again.

"Support was really poor with my order"
I got in touch with Opticron about an issue with my order and the support was just not good. The reply took ages, and when they finally got back to me it didn’t really help much. I kept feeling like I was having to explain the same thing over and over, and nothing was properly sorted. Really frustrating, really slow, and just not the kind of support I’d expect. I wouldn’t use them again unless their customer service improves

"Am I missing something with the packaging?"
Am I missing something here, or was the packaging just really poor? The box showed up crushed, and there wasn’t any padding inside at all. Disappointing, honestly.

"Pretty let down by the repair service"
I sent my Opticron binoculars in to be repaired, i kind of regret it. I wasn’t expecting miracles or anything, just a straightforward repair, and at first I figured it would all be fine.
Then it just dragged on. I waited ages before hearing much back, and when I did get updates, they were so vague that they didn’t really help. It felt like I had to keep nudging them just to find out what was happening, which got annoying, though I guess maybe they were just busy.
When the binoculars finally came back, the original problem still didn’t seem completely fixed. So yeah, not the best experience. Maybe other people have had great service from them, but mine was frustrating and a bit of a waste of time.

"Shopping on the site was frustrating"
I was trying to look for binoculars, but the website felt really clunky. Pages were taking forever to load, and the filters didn’t narrow things down in a useful way. You keep clicking around, then suddenly you have to go back and start over again. The products might be good, but the whole site experience made me give up quickly.

"Accessories didn’t fit as well as expected"
I bought a case and phone adapter after checking the site, but they didn’t really fit my binoculars the way I thought they would. The adapter was a bit fiddly to use, and the case was too tight, so I ended up having to return them. Customer service did respond, which I appreciated, but I think a lot of customers would benefit from clearer compatibility info before ordering. It wasn’t a terrible experience, just a frustrating one.

"Support Made Me Wait Forever"
I bought from them and ran into an issue afterward, and the after-sales support was frustrating. I kept getting told to be patient, but there’s only so much patience you can force out of someone when nobody is giving you a clear answer. It felt like I was just being stalled the whole time. I wouldn’t use them again

I don’t think I’ll be ordering from here again because the whole process was way more frustrating than it should have been, and by the time I was done I just felt annoyed and disappointed instead of excited about getting my order.

The whole thing feels a bit cheap and flimsy, which was disappointing. I was hoping it would be sturdier for the price. I also reached out about it and never got any follow-up, which made the experience even more frustrating.
